What COVID-19 policies do you have?

As of July 1, 2021, Maryland has lifted all COVID restrictions, including mask mandates. We are not imposing any restrictions on our regular guest stays, as most rooms have private entries and any indoor interaction with other guests is unlikely or minimal. We continue to provide guests with contactless check-in and payment, and perform a deep clean after each guest stay. Most area businesses have lifted mask restrictions for vaccinated individuals, but we recommend that you carry a mask and proof of your vaccination card just in case. We do ask that our Wellness Retreat guests be fully vaccinated so that we may all enjoy a relaxed and communal atmosphere.

How close are you to Deep Creek Lake?

We are quite close to the lake! We are just under 3 miles from Deep Creek Uno’s and Honi-Honi Bar, which are located on the lake and accessible by boat. We are about 5 miles from Deep Creek Lake State Park, which has a public beach and boat launching. In addition, you may want to check out the lakes and beachfront at nearby Herrington Manor or Broadford state parks.

 

Do you provide breakfast?

We do not include breakfast with your stay, although we have done so in the past. We found it was too difficult to coordinate a time that all guests preferred. In addition, many guests choose to cook in their own kitchens or sample area restaurants. However, retreat guests do enjoy all meals included during their stay.

Are you open year-round?

Yes, we are open year-round, although some of our barn suites do close for the winter. This is a great time to check out snow sports at Wisp Mountain Resort, just minutes away. Keep in mind that we require all-wheel or four-wheel drive in the winter months because of our steep driveway.

Is there WiFi?

Yes, we do provide WiFi on a public network accessible to all guests.
