Kam (Kamlesh) Gillespie
Kam was born in India and moved to England when she was seven. Most of her education was in the UK (London University and St. Andrews in Scotland) where she was trained as an economist. She moved to the Washington DC area in 1979 where she met her husband Wayne and they were married in 1982. Kam started working for the World Bank in 1980 and also on her Ph.D. in Economics at George Washington University. She left the Bank in 1993 when the family moved to Garrett County. She has also trained extensively in meditation and conflict resolution, which she instructs in our wellness and corporate retreats. Even though she doesn’t cook breakfast at the farm anymore, you can still check out her YouTube videos and see how to make some of Haley Farm’s most famous breakfast dishes!

Haley Gillespie
Haley grew up at Haley Farm from the age of 10. (Yes, the farm is named after her). After high school, she attended the University of Maryland and eventually went on to earn graduate degrees in Nutrition and Holistic Health Promotion. She has worked as a personal trainer and fitness instructor all over the country, including Southern California, Seattle and Boston. She moved back to the area in 2013 and now leads most aspects of our wellness retreats. She also handles most of the day to day maintenance, social media, and landscaping at the farm.
