Haley Farm was a bed and breakfast for a long time. We ran it ourselves for 7 years and then hired innkeepers. But our intention was always to eventually conduct health retreats. I did not want to get sick and become dependent on pharmaceuticals as I got older. And I wanted to feel and look good as I got older.
It made sense that prevention was the key to realizing this goal. I wrote a book on the four pillars of health – nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress reduction in 2017. “Making US Healthy Again” is available on Amazon for only 99c for the kindle version. But sometimes you need hands on experience and in depth immersion which can only be done by attending a retreat.
We offer 2 and five day retreats regularly. The next one based on the concept of Intermittent fasting and the Whole 30 eating plan is scheduled for September 20-22 and October 18-20, 2019. We have found that combining these two concepts is very powerful.
